each colour is an image reduced to a dot
each of these colour grids is 100 photographs
inside of each colour is an image
all this beauty and horror reduced to colours makes us blind
there is a pressure, a compression, pressing on all sides
my hands are full of lead, i can feel the blood pressing in on my eyes
colours that not even blindness could cure
when beauty and horror have been reduced to monochrome, a colour field, a grid – is that the end? when the colours age and become desaturated, everything returns to grey and then emptiness. is there anyway back or forwards after the monochrome?
colours generate forms and shapes, like virtual particles in a vacuum, nothing is at rest in our world, no matter how close to peace our words and dreams aspire
